This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for aChordion band subscriptions. Personal use of aChordion is free — there is nothing to refund unless you are the owner of a paid band subscription.
Who handles payments
Band subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle (paddle.com), acting as the Merchant of Record and legal seller of record. Because Paddle is the seller, refunds are issued by Paddle and governed by Paddle’s buyer terms. Charges on your statement appear from Paddle, and invoices are issued by Paddle.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a band subscription at any time from the Paddle billing portal (reachable from your band’s settings). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period by default: you keep the paid tier’s features until the period you’ve already paid for ends, and you are not charged again.
What happens to your data
When a band is downgraded or a subscription ends, the band returns to the free Session tier. Your songs and set lists are never deleted. Content over the free tier’s limit becomes read-only — still visible and playable — until you reduce it below the limit or upgrade again. Cancelling never costs you your work.
Requesting a refund
To request a refund, contact Paddle’s buyer support (linked from any Paddle invoice or receipt), or email us at support@achordion.app and we’ll help you reach the right place. Eligibility and processing are determined under Paddle’s buyer terms as seller of record.
